God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress (Psalm 46:1-3, 7).
GATHER
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." Act 2:42
The simple message that Jesus is the Savior - ours and yours - focuses our ministry. We are unable to earn a place in heaven because of our sins. We need a Savior from the punishment our sins deserve. Jesus is that Savior. He suffered and died to pay the price for the sins of everyone. He lived without sin to earn heaven for all who trust in Him. That's why Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6) This GOOD NEWS (the gospel) is what we gather to hear and share with you every Sunday in worship. Come and hear this good news with us at 10:30 AM this Sunday.
Worship
As a family of like-minded believers, we gather every Sunday for worship. God's Word is presented in hymns, songs, prayers, readings and a sermon. All of these different pieces of our worship service proclaim God's Word in a variety of ways.
We pray our message will bring you comfort, strength and encouragement as you live to God's glory.
We invite children to worship with us. Our Savior invited children to come to him. We have a Children's Sermon every other week in worship.
We realize parents might need a place to go with small children during worship. If needed, you are invited to make use of our Parent's Room or use of our "busy bags" during worship.
Fellowship
St. John's schedules regular opportunities to enjoy one another's company and fellowship. We celebrate holidays, enjoy activities and dinners together.
