St. John's Lutheran Church is a family. Like any family, we have our strengths and we have our weaknesses. We know we aren't perfect, but our Heavenly Father is. He has loved us with a perfect love, sending his Son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins. Through faith in Jesus God gives us forgiveness of sins and eternal life in heaven. 

God teaches us about Jesus and his love through his Word, the Bible. Through the Bible God encourages us as we live in a world filled with discouragements and hopeless feelings. Through the Bible God also equips us to serve others with the same love he has shown to us through Jesus.

As a family we GATHER together around God's Word in worship and respond in praise and prayer. We GROW in our understanding of God through Bible studies and Sunday school to reach all ages. And together we GO to our community and friends with the message of Jesus. We want as many people as possible to know the joy and hope we have as members of God's family.
